Employer FAQ's - Before Registration

1. What is the cost for registration?
The Mardi Gras Invitational Career Fair is $1000 per organization recruiting at the event. Extra table for the career fair costs $500.

2. How many people can I bring with me?
You can bring 1 or 100. The cost is the same.

3. When we register, how do we get an invoice?
You will receive an email invoice within 24-36 hours of your registration. The system will send you an automated response with the details from your online form submission, for many companies that can be used as an invoice.

4. What about shipping and hotel information, etc.?
You will receive the confirmation packet with all of that information by email within 24-36 hours of your registration confirmation.

5. We need to see a W-9 Form?
The W-9 Form will be in the Approval Packet or you can click here to view it as well.

6. I want to pay by Credit Card. What do I do?
You will have the opportunity process your payment by credit card at the time of registration. A terminal receipt will be sent to you via email.

8. How many students come to this event?
Normally between 1000 and 1500 attend. There is no way we can give you a specific number.

9. Why is this event not on campus?
The advantages on an off-site location are too many to count. It is much easier on you, the employer to get in and get out than trying to have this event at one campus or rotating it year after year.

10. How are the booths arranged?
If you are familiar with career fairs, then this event will look no different. We do not have the space to offer pipe-and-drape as you would see at a trade show. Using pipe-and-drape cuts down on the number of employers considerably. We can accommodate 150 booths at the 2010 event.
